daptone records love
While putting together my top albums of the year I came across these delightful videos profiling Daptone Records, a label specializing in new music made in a classic style: soul, funk, R&B that sounds (and looks) like it came from the 1960's and 70's. I love their work very, very much because it is authentic and real, indie-pure and ultimately designed to make you move. They are simply some of the best people doin it out there today. Observe:
