For my part, hearing that Dave Chappelle gave up on his act last night because the audience wouldn't shut the fuck up is not an indication that he had a meltdown or threw a fit. It is simply the price of popularity in a world where the audience that chooses you is a bunch of selfish dicks. These shouty assholes are why I can't go see Spoon live anymore. They are ever-present, they are obnoxious, they suck. And they are everywhere anything cool is happening, because they so badly want to be cool. They ruin the live experience. They have no manners. They suck.
I have tickets to see Chappelle on Saturday. I am very worried people will forget how to act, and/or attempt to provoke him into the same shit that happened last night. If only he could shut them down the way Louis CK does in this video.
