My friend Cristina does this thing once a week where she makes a digital video of herself playing a song in a potentially interesting place. She aptly calls the series "Songs In Potentially Interesting Places". So far she's been at an IHOP, in a New Jersey driveway, a park, a burrito shoppe, and varying naturey spots.
In honor of my birthday yesterday, because I semi-begged her to record a demo of it (still want her to), she did her terrific cover of Lauren Hill's "Doo Wop (That Thing)" on a rock in a park. Here it is:
