NPR has posted a collection of Kris Kristofferson's early demos for live streaming. On some of these numbers he sounds so much like early Leonard Cohen it's...it's.... awesome. Give it a try.

These demos were made when he was an anonymous songwriter, as references for the famous singers who would record them later on. The whole thing is being released as an album on May 4, Please Don't Tell Me How The Story Ends: The Publishing Demos 1968-72.
