I am now a professional fundraiser, for a fundraising company, on behalf of a charity. It means I'll be blogging far less.
By the way, it is fucking brutal. I literally stand outside and solicit money. Now it's for an extremely worthy cause, so that's okay. Also, it's better than the job I had up until lately, which is no job. It pays better too. Nevertheless, in this weather, it is harsh work. I am sore and tired a lot. Friday was incredibly wet and cold. I shiver to contemplate what this week is going to be like. Also, I sorta don't like asking people for money, not to mention in an elaborate, formulaic manner: the art of The Stop, The Rap, and The Close..
But whatever. If you know of work in the Seattle area, I'm interested.
