I am often embarrassed by Olbermann's quivering, frothy "special comments". He's got this weird horsey voice and his vigorous presentation style reminds me of the blowhards on Fox. I mean, he's basically a liberal version of those assholes.
But he reins it in a bit for this one, and he speaks the truth:
The question he poses is so very valid: what is it to you? Why do you care?
Here is my point: this is not going away. This is a civil rights issue. A girl I went to high school with went so far as to say it's a human rights issue. There is work to be done, but do not doubt that this too shall pass.
